Annual Friends of Warren and Claire Celebration

​

Our wish is to keep Warren and Claire close by getting to know them even better through all the wonderful people with whom they shared their lives. It is our hope to make this a celebration that grows each year. We would love it if everyone got to know Warren and Claire better by this yearly gathering with stories, memories, music, and laughter. March is the month for all things Irish, The Saturday after Saint Patrick's Day is a perfect time for this Memorial Dinner.
The Warren and Claire McNally Scholarship Fund
​​This Scholarship fund was established in 1997 at Saint Aidan School in Williston Park, NY.  Each year a scholarship is awarded to one 8th grade girl and one 8th grade boy who have shown outstanding effort in their academic studies and service to their school, thus depicting Warren and Claire's qualities of perseverance and strength of character.  

Thanks to the generosity of donors, the Foundation has awarded over $34,000 in scholarships (as of June 2023), and it has sufficient funds to support the two scholarships for several years to come.

Friends of Warren and Claire

1997 -After a decade-long battle with cancer, Mrs. Claire McNally passed away. As a memorial to Claire, her husband Warren used memorial funds to set up a scholarship fund at Saint Aidan School Williston Park, NY.


2009 - Claire's beloved husband Mr. Warren McNally passed away. Warren and Claire McNally's family used memorial funds to add to the scholarship fund at Saint Aidan School and Warren's name was added to the scholarship fund.


2014 - In January of 2014 the family and friends of Warren and Claire McNally established this Foundation to carry on the life and love of these two remarkable people.  


2014 - March 2014 the Foundation held its First Annual Friends of Warren and Claire Celebration dinner. Funds raised at this Memorial Dinner will add to the Warren and Claire McNally scholarship fund at Saint Aidan School in Williston Park, NY


2015 to Present - The Foundation held six Friends of Warren and Claire Celebration Banquets.


2015 to Present - The Foundation continued to award two annual scholarships to two Saint Aidan School graduates - see Scholarship Recipients page for more details.
